Organic growth vs Bots has been an on-going debate that has started from the time the first person started Instagram Marketing. It doesn’t have a firm, clear winner because like every other debate, there are good and bad points to either of these things. At its core, it is simply a matter of perspective, and the needs and wants of the individual or business that has turned to Instagram for marketing and sale of their product. As such, we need to take a look into the inside process, into how the Bots work and when is there the need for the Bots, and when should an Organic Growth be promoted for the Instagram page.

organic growth

Whenever someone starts out on Instagram, they want to have the biggest reach possible. While this may sound good in theory, the implementation and results are not practical for a starter if the business or person waits for an Organic Growth. At the start, a business depends on Instagram ads and word of mouth. As people like a page, they share their interests with others, and their reach grows. Similarly, Instagram ads attract those Instagrammers who might have liked the page had they known of its existence, and as such, based on research that is helped along by Social Spil, businesses pitch their products to people who might be interested. The other organic method is of promoting the Instagram page on other social media, and as such attracting potential customers from there.

However, all of this is a fairly slow process, not only because this Instagram Growth doesn’t have an active amplifier, but also because these passive steps only provide steady and limited growth. On the other hand, Instagram bots are the solution that most businesses look towards when they are starting out. They want to spread the word and for that people need to know their authenticity. While this authenticity may be slow to develop organically, with the help of Instagram bots, and the Bot Likes and Bot Follows, a business’s page, even while starting out appears to have good credit, and as such, attracts and holds the attention of more and more of their target audience.

This practice enables the business to actually gain real-time followers instead of just bots, and as such, supports the actual sale of their product. While all of this might seem to show Bots in a great light and show them as having an advantage over the Organic Growth, Instagrammers these days have become more aware of the presence of Bots on various Instagram pages. As such, if the audience feels like the Instagram Growth of a page didn’t happen organically, they will search the various Instagram posts in order to determine how many and to what extent, the post has been decorated with Bot Likes, and how much of the following of the page is due to Bot Follows. The presence of Bots, more often than not, is a major turn-off for most Instagrammers, and as such, may result in a decline in the Instagram Growth of a page.

All of this means that there is a combination of both techniques needed by a business in order to thrive. This combination is easier to obtain and maintain by taking help form companies such as Social Spil so that there is an apt combination of Instagram Bots at the beginning, enough to attract shoppers and casual Instagrammers, but not enough that it is the only thing getting highlighted and as such, actually deters potential customers from getting involved with the business and following the Instagram page. The Instagram pages may start out with some Bot Likes and Bot Follows, but Social Spil is needed to make sure that the further the page goes, the more Organic Growth it has. Social Spil is also needed to ensure that the Bots do not go out of their way to populate a post with Bot Likes when the page has already gone to become big enough to attract customers on its own.

At a certain point, the strings of the Bots need to be cut, and Social Spil ensures that the process of Instagram Growth transitionally smoothly from Bot-induced growth towards an Organic Growth. The more seamless the transition, the better are the chances of the Instagram page, of getting an audience and potential followers to come to their page, browse along with it, and actually join their group of followers, thereby replacing the Bot Follows with real-life, potential customer followers.
